Get ready for an uncomfortable surprise with new CTA cars: The newest additions to the CTA fleet — which debuted on the Pink Line earlier today — are equipped with cameras, LED displays and other high-tech features, but the face-to-face seating arrangement may have customers feeling a little too close for comfort.
What are your thoughts on the new aisle-facing seats?

So basically it’s shaped like a subway car? I am pretty sure subway riders have all learned the fine art of not looking at each other.
Yeah, about half the seats on the light rail here in Phoenix face each other, but hey look a window and also the floor and there are my feet.
