I made myself two lacing panels to sew into mock-ups so I wouldn’t have to worry about mock-ups ripping themselves apart during fittings (which is a clever idea I stole from someone on the corsetmakers comm on lj) and yes okay that is probably a good investment for future corsets but now I am OUT OF GROMMETS

I put on Clueless while I was cutting, pinning, and sewing the third mock-up. Plus side: all I have to do is sew the boning channels, bone it, and punch holes to lace it up and check if my alterations were sufficient or not.
